Private Sessions
As a nutritionist in a clinical setting, Sierra observed clients struggling with establishing healthier diets. All of the logical, scientific information in the world couldn't help them change deeply ingrained eating patterns or shift everyday lifestyle choices.
In order to truly transform, they needed the emotional support of Sierra's hands-on approach and the mental and spiritual support of yoga and meditation.
At EatandTell, Sierra approaches each client holistically, getting to know them personally in order to understand their lifestyle, habits, and challenges. Depending on the client, private sessions may start with a walk outside and a conversation, or an initial interview at the client's home. Sessions are customized to clients' needs and preferences.
This session explores:
- Lifestyle concepts - nourishing vs. depleting, obligation vs. inspiration
- Each day's influences:
- Personal: biochemistry, typical diet, self-care, recreation
- Environment: relationships, home and office dynamics, social interactions
Once a client's lifestyle, challenges and goals are identified, Sierra creates a customized approach that integrates nutrition, yoga, and meditation techniques. Private sessions may include yoga sets, meditation, or sound therapy (e.g. crystal bowls, gong), as well as mapping out appropriate dietary choices.
Sierra cultivates a process that allows her clients to take the lead, discovering their own meaning in their journeys.
